Flip My Performance (FlipMP) is an AI-powered fitness platform that unifies your training data from Strava, Garmin, Apple Health, and 6 other platforms into one intelligent dashboard — with AI coaching that understands the full picture across all your sports.
Why FlipMP exists
Training for a triathlon while also doing calisthenics means living in four apps simultaneously: Strava for the run data, Garmin Connect for the bike and swim, Apple Health as the aggregator, and a separate app for bodyweight progressions. None of these apps know what the others are doing.
After a race where poor nutrition planning — caused by wildly different calorie estimates across apps — led to a mid-race bonk, the decision was made: build the platform that should have existed.
FlipMP started as a personal project in Lisbon in 2025. It became a product when too many athletes on Reddit said they had the exact same problem. We're building it in public, shipping fast, and talking to athletes constantly. The feedback loop is tight by design.

Technical approach
FlipMP connects to fitness platforms via official OAuth APIs — no screen scraping, no credential sharing. Your data stays yours. We pull activity data, process training load using established sports science models (TSS/CTL/ATL), and feed it to the AI coach with your full history as context.
The calorie system uses MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) values derived from actual GPS, heart rate, and power data — not step counts or wrist-based estimates. For athletes, the difference is significant: a 90-minute cycling session at Zone 3 burns very differently from a 90-minute walk, even if both register as "active" on a smartwatch.
The platform is web-first. No app download required. Data from your devices syncs automatically through connected integrations.
