EMOM
Definition
EMOM stands for "Every Minute On the Minute." You perform a set number of reps at the start of each minute, then rest for the remainder of that minute. The workout repeats for a set number of minutes.
Why it matters
EMOMs build strength-endurance by forcing consistent effort with incomplete recovery. They also teach pacing — choose a rep number you can maintain throughout all rounds.
